Morgan DeLuna was born and raised in Minneapolis, Minnesota and relocated to California in 2004. Growing up around a diverse group of people and beliefs she had a natural interest in what makes us different and the same. She explored these ideas throughout childhood via visual and performing arts. Morgan’s work as a photographic artist focuses on the relationship between appearance and identity; how we see and present ourselves and how that is received by others.

“I create work that I feel is personal and yet universal in theme. I am not solely seeking to express my own thoughts and ideas; I want to encourage and invite the viewers to find a meaning that is personal to them.”
