Extrospection
These intimate, unretouched self-studies began with my earnest intention to examine form and light as a way to reframe how, as women, we relate to our bodies. I quickly became fascinated by the topographic qualities my body took on at that specific time and place in my life. The sun freckles that will surely darken, the skin that will grow more translucent over time, the scars that exist and the ones yet to come. This ongoing project comes together as a visual diary of my physical being.
